Spring Green

A little sunshine, a little rain in May (late May this year)
and you get the most beautiful shade of green!

Helping hands

It’s been too cold for us to be enjoying the screen porch.
A hummingbird, however, stopped in but couldn’t find its way out.

It just needed a couple of helping hands.

“Come again!”

This is what we do

My day job involves managing a fleet of float planes and remote resource based cabins. Most days I’m in the office at our base but occasionally I get out and up to take in some of our beautiful country from the air.

Winter Spring Winter Spring

The third Monday in May (Victoria Day) is our
unofficial kick off to summer.
Sure doesn’t seem like summer will ever arrive!

Look closely and you’ll see tiny green buds.
There is hope.

Sounds of Spring

One of the very first sounds of spring on Agimak Lake
is the gull cry.
As soon as the opening at the damn begins to grow,
a flock of gulls gather.

Not long after, birds of a different feather return.

Blue & White

I’m rather fond of blue and white –
Delft Blue porcelain
Toronto Maple Leafs
Spring ice…

Ice pushed up over ice
