It’s been three weeks since the ice moved out and the lake opened up. I haven’t had a chance to share all the cool images captured before it left.
This particular day, Joanna was playing around with my camera when we were startled by a sudden, strange noise. A large piece of submerged ice broke loose and surfaced like a lazy whale. As soon as our heart beats returned to normal, I reminded Jo she had the camera.
One of the best things about ice out is we are treated to twice the amount of sky!
Later this particular evening, the calm waters reflected an incredible array of twinkling stars. I love living at the water’s edge!
Fondly remembering the birth of our first born, a precious daughter 29 years ago today!

The Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, bore the sin of all mankind for all time when nailed to a Roman cross. Raised to life, He conquered death (separation from God) and made it possible for man to be reconciled to (have a personal relationship with) God the Father through faith in Him.
