The Lord Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, bore the sin of all mankind for all time when nailed to a Roman cross. Raised to life, He conquered death (separation from God) and made it possible for man to be reconciled to (have a personal relationship with) God the Father through faith in Him.
