Agimak Glyphs

Looking back at pictures of the fall I wasn’t able to post (winter came so quickly), I found these.  Just beyond the edges of shoreline ice, the calm water reflects bent reeds to form graphic design.

Shades of grey

Occasionally, we will experience a number of winter days without sun.  It’s remarkable how all the colour disappears.  This image is straight out of the camera.

Wet web

Another web to share from the other morning.  The morning mist, carried by the gentle move of air, gradually built up as droplets on the web’s strands.  Every so gently, droplets combined increasing in size.

The silvery globes invert a reflection of the misty shoreline.

Gradually, the mist thins enough to reveal the orange of the maples in the background.

Scratch and sniff

Sometimes I wish I could capture, with the image, the wonderful scents and sounds of that moment to share and to savour.  You’ll just have to use your imagination for the calm morning, fresh rain of this one.
