Indian summer

We have been blessed with gorgeous fall weather!   An invitation to join some new friends for a kayak on Mamegeiwess Lake just west of Ignace was an added treat.  Thank you, Wendy, Leslie and Pam for a delightful fall adventure!

Don’t rock the float

The trickiest part about getting this shot was keeping Lindor from disturbing the water!  It’s very rare to have such a calm evening.  Even though Lindor is careful not to get his feet wet when lapping up lake water at the shore, every sip has an noticeable ripple effect!

Misty Morn

Heavy fog on a cool morning creates a natural sepia look.

In a matter of minutes the fog can dissipate and we get the most incredible blue!  (Images are straight out of the camera and no polarizing filter was used.)

Fall flower

Some flowers save themselves for late summer appearance.  Dew covers these delicate, wild asters along Agimak Creek..
