Pumpkin time

In our part of the country, in October, a whole lot of orange appears; not the orange you may think.  I’m talking about Hunter Orange.  Gun hunters are required by law to wear blaze orange while out in the field.  From the air, they are easily spotted and fondly referred to as “pumpkins” by our pilots.

Last week I enjoyed a family celebration in SW Ontario.  My daughter, Joanna, who wears her blaze orange hoodie year round, posed in a pumpkin patch.
