Windows on the north side of our house tend to ice up.  Fluctuations in moisture and temperature paint intricate shapes on the glass.

Icy brush strokes

We’re half way through November and Agimak Lake has not yet frozen over completely.  After each calm night that the temperature drops below 0 C, we find beautiful brush strokes of ice.  In the next few posts, I’ll share some close-ups of the intricate, icy designs.
