Backlit

Setting sun behind the keys of this maple tree reveal intricate veining, the start of the seedling root system.

Odd shape

The properties of snow, when it falls, can be very different depending on temperature and humidity. Once on the ground, it changes again.

The transformation creates very odd textures and shapes. This worm-looking thing briefly hung on the side of the hammock stand.
Ah, hammock…think summer!

Out of the shadows

Sunshine and shadow on snow create incredible contrasts. Among the tall pines and bowed birches, in a patch of clearing, this spruce glows in a sunbeam.

Shaggy edges

Mist rising from the creek during dark, cold nights, builds up the on snow at the surface. Beautiful, shaggy edges are formed.

Fetch?

Lindor loves coming along when I head out with my camera. He’s content to find something to chew on and occasionally convinces me to toss his found treasure for a game of ‘fetch’. Not always, though…
Silly guy!

Figure skating or hockey?

How about both?I don’t have picture in a picture or two tvs in the same room so…
hockey gets the big screen and full sound; figure skating plays out live streamed on my laptop.
Ah, technology.
