busy fingers; happy heart

This fall and winter has been rather unpicturesque. At least, to me. Mind you, with cooler weather and pending road trips, my passion for knitting returns. My mother taught me to knit as soon as I was able to hold a pair of needles (and sit still long enough!) That was more years ago than I care to admit or reveal. It has always been an activity I took great pleasure in but over the years it was pushed to the back burner, so to speak. When confined to vehicle for long periods of time (annually marketing our business in the mid-west US in January), the clicking of needles in my hands helped pass the time. This year, having taken a fall trip, the yarn and needles came out early and the passion more vigorously returned. Like reading a compelling novel, it has been difficult for me to put the needles down. Admittedly, my blog posts have been more sporadic and my perception of the photo potential on any given day distorted. So, for the record, here is a sneak peak at what I’ve been up to. I can not reveal what these are and for whom until after gift-giving time. 😉lace knitting
