Icy brush strokes

We’re half way through November and Agimak Lake has not yet frozen over completely.  After each calm night that the temperature drops below 0 C, we find beautiful brush strokes of ice.  In the next few posts, I’ll share some close-ups of the intricate, icy designs.

The Agimak Lake family of Canada Geese are still around (who wouldn’t stay to enjoy our extended summer).   It’s been fun watching them grow from fuzzy little brown goslings to full colour adults.
