Just like when we were kids looking for shapes in the clouds, I love to see shapes in the piled up snow in the trees. While show-shoeing recently, I was startled to find this unusual figure. What do you see?

Happy New Year! We’ve turned the page not only to a new month but a whole new year!

For Twenty-Fourteen I wish you adventures experienced, challenges conquered and dreams fulfilled.

Looking back over the previous year and ahead to the new one, I was inspired to create this year’s desktop calendar style.

Although the worst of winter may be ahead, I delight in the knowledge that from this point on the calendar forward the sun will rise sooner and set later. 🙂
